The THUGS Truce symbol is a campaign for truce and peaceful solutions for our communities and supporting each other without judgment. The THUGS For Change concept was born out of heartache and a yearning to halt the violence and other issues affecting our communities. Every time another Black person has their lives disrupted by another Black person; it impacts us as a whole.  We are all family, and we need to care for each other as such. You never know what someone is going through. Feelings, emotions, and misjudgments come into play making communication difficult leading to conflict and chaos. The THUGS TRUCE Symbol  clearly communicates our alliance in solidarity standing on the principle of TRUCE.

Naturally, there will be some folks that our spirits just don’t harmonize with.  It’s how we deal with those situations that makes the difference.  We may not always like each other, but we can always love one another.  We can step to each other with RESPECT, listen to REASON and come up with RESOLUTIONS.

We are all on our own personal journeys in this God-given life, regardless of opinions or circumstances.  Decisions we make today becomes our reality tomorrow.  Our actions sow and reap us into our destiny.  With God we are all one. No one higher or lower. Pride has no place. It’s time to surrender to understanding.  Hold each other accountable for the roles we play in our communities.  Help and uplift one another with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.   Working together and supporting each other unconditionally we can build and maintain our own.

We can all be activist and advocate for our community by displaying and using the  THUGS TRUCE Symbol as a tool for change anywhere TRUCE is needed. Changing outlooks and changing outcomes, creating TRUCE ZONES everywhere.
